I had such great success with this therapy so I am 'passing it forward' by creating this website to share with others. The site will remain free of advertising as long as I can afford. Please help spread the word about this amazing therapy.

Here is my story.

My name is Deb and I am a person with Parkinson's Disease, diagnosed in 2015 at the age of 57. My symptoms began as hammertoes that caused so much damage that I needed several surgeries before finally getting screws inserted into 3 toes. The PD progressed quickly and within a few years I could not walk or stand without support, could not drive, could barely dress myself and just taking a shower would exhaust me. All types of PD medications caused bad side effects, including Sinemet. At my last appointment with a Movement Disorder Specialist in December 2018, I was told my only option was DBS brain surgery and was scheduled to begin the approval process.

In a panic, I intensified my online searching for other options and I stumbled onto an online forum (HealthUnlocked) that was discussing high dose thiamine treatment and the members were reporting major reductions in their PD symptoms. And the therapy was inexpensive, low risk and didn't require a doctor's appointment!. This was a no-brainer so I quickly placed an online order for thiamine(b1).

I started right away at 2000 mgs/day and within 3 days my balance started improving. Within a week I no longer needed the walker. I had more energy and grew more confident in my abilities each day. Within 3 weeks I was driving again and back at yoga classes. I got my life back!

I am not 'cured' of Parkinson's Disease but my quality of life has improved immensely. Since starting on high dose thiamine, I changed my diet to vegan and exercise every day. I take lots of supplements and only take PD medications as needed. I still have days of pain and stiffness but the majority of my symptoms have improved or disappeared. This therapy may not be a cure but it makes living with the disease a whole lot easier. And choosing vitamins over brain surgery was one of the best decision I ever made.

Update December 2022: I continue to do well on the high dose thiamine of 2000 mgs/day. I exercise daily, am socially active, eat a mostly plant-based diet and continue to work at reducing stress. I have reduced my Parkinson's medication to less than 1 tab of Sinemet per day and I have switched to mucuna pruriens which is a more natural product.
